Let's hope the residents of Amesville--several of whom volunteer for our fire and ambulance department and our library--are allowed to use the pool for free.
Have ay restirctions been made regarding pool use? I don't think so ... I believe North Canaan residents will be welcomed also.
Thanks to all those who have done so much to make this project a reality! I have no dout that the pool will soon become a gathering point for residents of our town ...

I checked the town website and saw no mention of the pool. Does anyone know what the days/hours of operation will be, and any info about swim lessons?

My name is Melinda Carlson and I was born and raised in FVCT and am excited to be running the brand new, beautiful pool.
I have been working at local summer camps and running swim lessons and lifeguarding for the past four years. I am excited to finally bring all my experience back to my hometown!!
Yes, believe it or not we will definately be open on this coming Wednesday, July 16, 2008. The hours of operation are Monday - Saturday, 11 - 8; and Sundays 12 - 7.
In regards to swim lessons, there WILL be lessons. Details to follow.
