Yes, it is possible, and based on results to date, I would say it is more than possible: it is likely!
The Falls Village Children's Theatre is already bringing benefits to the larger community. This past Sunday, I had the real pleasure of directing a FVCT actress playing Mary in the Christmas Pageant at Trinity Lime Rock.
I was initially a little apprehensive how this normally rather shy 10 year old would perform. I need not have been; she did a very competent job, singing a solo as well as acting. Clearly, she has had really good training, and it was a real pleasure to work with her.
I managed to shoot a rather shaky hand-held video of her solo from the back of the church, while getting the animals and shepherds ready to go on. It's here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVwqy24swuoand -- if you ignore the video quality, you can see an accomplished actress in the making.
